Candidate debates

Statesman candidates write-up

From the write-up in The Salem Statesman Journal, by Connor Radnovich:  “For me, winning is changing the political debate, in addition to getting to the office," Paravicini said. "Making ranked choice voting something that everyone has heard of and a dinner table discussion, I consider that winning the election."

Candidate debates for the position of Secretary of State (click on the image to watch the recordings):

I highly recommend watching them, for purely non-partisan reasons:  each forum provided unique and interesting information about the position of the Secretary of State, as well as a discussion about the issues that will be faced by the upcoming SOS.

Candidate interviews by the Willamette Week includes three candidates, video below.  It is unfortunate, and maybe confusing, that the article only mentioned two candidates.

How would you conduct audits of state agencies? The last SoS did valuable audits even though he was a Republican. Keeping foster children safe and not wasting tax dollars are important for us all. Every wasted dollar is a dollar not helping our fellow Oregonians.

This says nothing about her or her views. As I’m sure you know, people who are trying to find out more about you need a quick option to determine if further research on your platform is necessary
